After a successful raid, a bandit group is celebrating how much booty they got. In the middle of the dancing and bonfire, a Fireball (TM) comes streaking out of the sky. The fortress wall is blown inward and major destruction follows. In the middle of all of this is a small unassuming woman, who the bandit leader recognizes as "Li-Li-Lina Inverse!". After dispatching the rest of the bandits, Lina helps herself to the booty. The next day, Lina is accosted by another bandit group and finds herself being 'rescued' by Gourry, a dim-witted, but earnest warrior. Gourry rapidly finds out that this 'little girl' is a great magician and fighter with a reputation to match. Not to mention her enormous appetite. This is a series that makes fun of virtually every element of RPGs that it can find, with a little serious adventure mixed in.
